Accent Indy is the only accredited DMC in Indiana so when they throw their doors open to welcome industry colleagues, it’s truly a VIP crowd that attends.
“The Accents,” an annual event hosted by Accent Indy, is the perfect opportunity to bring the best of the best in the events industry together and show off what Accent Indy, as an incredibly skilled DMC, can be trusted to deliver.
A cornerstone event for the company, this “Accent Influencer” recognition brings together supplier partners, vendors, CVB colleagues, and hoteliers, among others, for a spectacular night of awards and recognition.
Each year’s “Accents” are given a unique theme. In 2021, Accent Indy decided it was time to say “Let’s Go Crazy” and threw a Prince-themed Purple Rain extravaganza. This gave Accent Indy an excellent way to showcase as many of their services as possible, by carrying the theme into every corner of the event experience.
The event allowed Accent Indy President Shannon Gardner to fulfill her dream of partying like it was 1999, by bringing this event to life as a long-time Prince fan. She wasn’t the only one ready to don a raspberry beret though and make the most of the evening. All of the 2021 attendees were excited to simply be together, in-person, after many tough months.
Planning for the 2022 “Accents” will begin later this summer, with lots of ideas already kicking around the Accent Indy team about what theme can possibly rival “The Purple One”!
