Bike rides! Every time I take a new trail I am amazed at finding a new epic park right in the center of San Antonio. Living downtown I am only ½ a mile from the River Walk (which is a total of 15 miles long!) and the Missions reach has great wide paths perfect for riding. Every time I say “this is my favorite part of the river walk” (It’s always a different part) Last weekend we went to Mission Espada, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it is definitely my new favorite....

Mornings. I love the idea that each day is a new start and anything can happen. Mornings are insane at my house as I get my three girls (Abigail – 13, Claire – 10, and Gracie – 7) out the door. You can find me with a cup of coffee in one hand, a hair brush in the other, and Taylor Swift providing the soundtrack to our mornings. I have always thrived on chaos and craziness and it is during those times that I am most productive...

The birth of our two sons…Jacob and Brayden. While they are now both young men (24 and 21), it seems like just yesterday we were bringing them home from the hospital…how time flies!

In the morning when the sun has just risen and it’s quiet and still and just the chirp of the birds are noticed.
The activity...
I love being outdoors…hiking, biking, skiing, or on the tennis court or golf course, it’s a true joy and make me feel alive!

A full moon, sitting at the Mauna Lani Resort at an event called, “Twilight at Kalahuipua’a” when my friend asked me to get up and dance a hula for the Hawaiian style “talk story” event for 200+ people. I got up, danced a hula and when it ended, my boyfriend got up on stage and asked me to marry him. My friends sang our first song and we danced with 100 other couples under the moonlight, ocean front at the very spot we were married...

The pet...
No pets right now, we did have a black bunny named Shadow – actually she was my daughter’s and Shadow we were lucky we had her through middle school and all of high school and she got sick and we had to let her go. She and I became close after all those late nights after events and I would sit on the carpet with her, pet her as long as she would let me, and unwind while I sipped on a glass of wine! She was my therapy bunny!...
